DocSafe Fireproof & Water Resistant Case Green
Fireproof and Water-resistant: This upgraded box uses three layered silicone coated fiberglass and carries SGS testing with UL94 VTM-0 certification. It is waterproof against moisture exposure, though the zipper area is not guaranteed water-resistant. The 13″ x 13″ x 13″ interior holds 100+ 12-inch records stored vertically. A lid with a zipper and lock provides security, while top and side handles support easy transport. Mesh pockets inside the lid and sides add storage options. The box collapses for compact storage and includes non-slip feet for durability.
DocSafe Fireproof & Water Resistant Case Blue
Fireproof and Water-resistant: This model uses the same durable three-layer silicone coated fiberglass, SGS certified construction. It safeguards 100+ 12-inch records with a lockable lid. While the material resists moisture, the zipper area may be susceptible to water exposure. It also features internal mesh pockets, top and side handles, and a collapsible design for easy storage when not in use. A manual for the lock is included, and labeling slots aid organization.
Hododou Vinyl Storage Box
Storage capacity and design: This box is built to hold 30+ vinyl records and features mesh pockets on lids for additional storage. The 13.38″ x 7.08″ x 14.17″ dimensions balance portability with ample space for larger record sleeves. While primarily focused on capacity, its design emphasizes easy access and organized placement for collectors wanting a practical, mid-range storage solution.
Square Deal 12″ Vinyl Storage Box Set (5 Box)
Durable set of five cardboard storage boxes with removable lids and sturdy carry handles. Each box measures about 15-5/16″ x 13-11/16″ x 14″ and can securely hold up to 90 vinyl records. The design is compatible with LP divider cards up to 13.5 inches tall, helping maintain an organized catalog and easy browsing of your collection.
alavisxf xx 12-Inch Storage Box Set
Set of 2 nylon foldable storage boxes for 180 records total. Each box folds for compact storage and expands to hold up to 180 records. A lid and Velcro closures keep contents protected, while a top card holder helps label and identify contents, simplifying inventory management for large collections.
UENTIP 12-Inch Vinyl Storage Box
Sturdy black nylon storage box designed for 12-inch records, featuring a high-density cardboard composition with durable fabric for long-term use. A front sticky note helps categorize by genre or collection, while foldable or stackable design optimizes space, making it suitable for compact shelves or closet storage.
Angela&Alex 2-Pack Locking Boxes
Pack includes two spacious storage boxes with locks, each 13 x 13 x 13 inches. They feature eight Velcro divider strips and two label windows to customize organization. The three-layer silicone-coated fiberglass construction provides fire resistance and water resistance, though the zipper area may be less resistant. Reflective strips improve visibility in low light, and the set is designed for upright record storage with stability in mind.
Buying Guide
Key considerations when selecting a 12-inch record storage solution include fire and water resistance, capacity, portability, and organization features. For valuable collections, prioritize cases with lockable lids and durable shells. If you have limited space, collapsible designs or stackable systems maximize storage without increasing footprint. Consider whether you need built-in labeling options, divider systems, or pockets for accessories like sleeves, cleaning kits, or dust covers. Material choices affect durability and moisture tolerance—silicone-coated fiberglass offers strong protection, while cardboard builds are lighter and often more affordable. Finally, verify fit for standard 12-inch LP sleeves and whether the unit accommodates upright vertical storage for easy cataloging. Compare total capacity across units to determine the best balance of space, security, and accessibility for your collection.
