A black bed with drawers underneath adds concealed bedroom storage without requiring a separate dresser. For a queen bed with a padded velvet headboard, consider the Garvee; for an adjustable headboard, the Allewie diamond-tufted model is a fit. The VECELO is a full-size option, while the VIAGDO adds headboard compartments and six underbed drawers. The other Allewie queen frame pairs four drawers with a padded three-panel headboard.

Garvee Queen Velvet Storage Bed
Best for: Shoppers who want a queen bed with four drawers and a soft, upholstered headboard. The drawers are designed for bedding, seasonal clothing, towels, and accessories, and their wheels help with pulling them out. The listing describes a velvet-covered, foam-padded headboard with horizontal channel detailing.
The frame combines a reinforced metal structure with wooden slats, and the product is described as noise-free. It does not require a box spring. Choose this model if its channel-style headboard suits your room. The listed features do not provide drawer dimensions, so check the product details if you need to fit bulky items.
Allewie Queen Bed With Adjustable Headboard
Best for: Buyers who want to adjust headboard height to better suit their mattress setup. The headboard adjusts to 41.7 or 43.7 inches, and the listing recommends a mattress height of 6 to 14 inches. Four oversized drawers underneath provide storage for sheets, accessories, and off-season clothing.
This queen platform frame has black upholstery described as luxury leather and a diamond button-tufted design. It does not need a box spring and is described as noise-free. Choose it if the adjustable headboard is a priority; avoid assuming it suits mattress heights outside the stated recommendation, since those are not specified in the provided features.
VECELO Full Upholstered Storage Bed
Best for: People shopping for a full-size bed rather than a queen. Four drawers underneath have wheels for pulling them in and out, with space intended for bedding, accessories, and seasonal clothing. The frame has velvet upholstery, a metal interior framework, and 12 wooden slats.
The listing gives a maximum weight capacity of 800 pounds and describes the structure as noise-free. No box spring is needed. This is the clearest size-specific choice for a full bed. The supplied product information does not state the drawer measurements or headboard height, so verify those details if room layout or storage-item dimensions are important.
VIAGDO Queen Bookcase Bed With Six Drawers
Best for: Buyers seeking more built-in organization than four underbed drawers alone. The queen frame has six rolling drawers beneath the bed, plus a headboard with an open shelf, three compartments, four rearrangeable fabric drawers, and a flip-down hidden cabinet.
Its wood-and-metal construction includes embedded framing intended to help keep the mattress from shifting. The listing also describes silent foam strips between components and says no box spring is needed. Choose this model when both underbed and headboard storage matter. Its many compartments may be unnecessary for shoppers who prefer a simpler bed; the supplied features do not give compartment dimensions.
Allewie Modern Queen Platform Bed
Best for: Queen-bed shoppers who want four underbed drawers and a large padded headboard. The drawers use smooth, silent rollers and are intended for bedding, seasonal clothes, and shoes. The three-panel headboard is foam-filled, offering a padded surface for sitting up to read or lounge.
The frame is covered in velvet described as soft and designed to resist everyday wear. Its combination of concealed storage and an oversized headboard makes it a better match for buyers who value both functions. The listed features do not state mattress-height guidance or drawer dimensions, so confirm those specifications before choosing it for a particular mattress or storage load.
Buying Guide: How To Choose A Black Bed With Drawers
How much storage do you need?
Four-drawer beds can organize everyday items such as sheets, clothing, and accessories. The VIAGDO provides six underbed drawers as well as headboard compartments, so it offers more designated storage areas. Compare drawer count, size, and access before deciding; a higher count does not automatically mean each drawer is larger.
Should you choose a full or queen bed?
Match the frame size to the mattress you own or plan to buy. The VECELO listed here is full size; the other four options are queen. Confirm the exact frame and mattress dimensions on the product listing, and measure the bedroom so the bed and open drawers have adequate room.
Which headboard features matter?
Choose a padded headboard if you expect to sit up in bed. The Garvee has horizontal channel styling, the first Allewie has an adjustable headboard with two listed heights, and the modern Allewie has a three-panel padded design. The VIAGDO adds shelves and compartments instead of focusing only on upholstery.
What should you check before ordering?
- Confirm bed size and the mattress-height guidance, if provided.
- Check drawer dimensions and how they open in your room layout.
- Review the frame materials, slat support, and stated weight capacity when listed.
- Determine whether the bed requires a box spring; all five listings say one is not needed.
- Compare upholstery and headboard design with your bedroom’s intended look.
